Calendars are meshing gears: the civil "vague" year is 365 EXACT (12×30 + 5 epagomenal, no leap), so it slips 1 day / 4 yr against the Sirius year and realigns only every Sothic cycle of 1460 Julian years; the tzolkʼin (260) and haabʼ (365) re-mesh every LCM = 18,980 days ≈ 52 yr (the Calendar Round).
